In a constantly changing work environment, the key to landing a good job is having the right skills at the right time. MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center oversees several federally funded programs that pay for training to help people become more employable. There are eligibility criteria to access these training funds, and money each year is limited. Become a member and discuss your options with an employment counselor.

How do I get training?

STEP 1:   Become a member by filling out a membership form. (Its free!)

STEP 2:   Attend one of our upcoming orientation meetings. To see available times or to register for one of our on-line orientations click here for English or here for Portuguese.  You may also call (508) 513-3400 for assistance in registering.

STEP 3:   Fill out a Career Action Plan at the end of the orientation meeting. Indicate that you are interested in training.

STEP 4:   You will be assigned an employment counselor, who will work with you to determine if you are eligible for training under our current programs and what options are available that would be most beneficial for you.

STEP 5:   You select your school and training program from a list of qualified vendors and begin training for a new career.
