This workshop will assist job seekers find new jobs or training programs based on the knowledge, skills, and abilities they acquired in previous jobs using TORQ. Must be computer literate.

A presentation of the fundamentals of resume writing, including resume components and guidelines. Learn how to write cover letters and thank you letters.

Learn how to successfully complete an online application and submit your resume electronically. Must have an updated resume available electronically, know how to use the mouse and keyboard.

Individual Job Search Assistance
Individual assistance in a group setting with job search activities such as resume development, formatting resumes on the computer, internet job search and online job applications. Prerequisite: Demonstrated ability to use a mouse and basic computer skills; must have email address & bring flash drive to save documents.
Introduction to Computers
Learn the computer basics you need to compete in today’s computer-driven workplace. This workshop is designed for those with little or no computer knowledge. You will learn the basic components of a computer, how to effectively use a mouse, navigate in Windows and work with desktop icons.
Introduction to Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC)
Are you a job seeker with a disability? A Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the MRC will conduct an information session. This session will outline services offered and the eligibility requirements through MRC. Learn if you would benefit from MRC services, the eligibility requirements and how to go about applying for services.

A Massasoit Community College Admissions Office Representative will be conducting an Info Session on Certificate and Associate Degree Program available at MCC and answering any questions that you may have regarding the Admissions Process.
MS Excel 2016 Level 1
This workshop is designed for those with little or no knowledge of Microsoft Excel. In this workshop, you will get a hands-on overview of the primary features of the Microsoft Excel application to be able to perform basic tasks. Prerequisite: Must have basic knowledge of MS Word.
MS Excel 2016 Level 2
In this intermediate workshop you will learn more advanced features of Excel including formulas, advanced formatting options, and linking worksheets. Intro to Excel workshop or prior experience with Excel required to take this workshop.
MS Excel 2016 Level 3
This workshop will focus on more advanced but practical features of Excel geared towards increasing productivity. Required: Excel 2 or strong abilities in Excel including being very comfortable with formulas.
MS Excel 2016 Pivot Tables (Webinar)
An online description and demonstration of the use of Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel. It will include discussion of the uses of pivot tables, creating and manipulating pivot tables, changing field settings to perform calculations with the data, use of the slicer and timelines, adding calculated fields, pivot charts, connecting multiple pivot tables to a single slicer/timeline, and giving your pivot table a dynamic range by tying it to a table. Career center membership is required.

This workshop will provide information on the various Small Business Administration (SBA) programs and services available for start-up and existing businesses. Learn how the SBA can assist in starting or growing your business.
State Job Screening Session
This workshop will cover searching and applying for state jobs; will include reviewing the Commonwealth Employement Opportunites (CEO) website and cover strategies to be successful. Must bring hard copy of resume as well as electronic version on flash drive.
