This free (for those who qualify) training course offers intensive, hands-on training covering the core concepts and essential skills needed for entry-level precision machining careers. Students will master shop safety, interpret engineering blueprints (including GD&T), and gain proficiency in using precision measurement tools. The curriculum provides practical experience operating both manual lathes and milling machines, alongside an introduction to basic CNC principles. This course directly equips participants with the technical foundation necessary to meet the high demand for skilled professionals in modern manufacturing.
